The soul always knows what to do to heal itself… The challenge is to silence the mind.

About

My name is Krystle Hunt, and I’ve been a holistic bodywork practitioner since 2014 and engaged in the healing arts for the past 16 years. From 2015 to 2025, I practiced professionally as a foot reflexologist, and I now focus exclusively on Reiki and energy medicine modalities.

My introduction to holistic healing, began from a personal need for more care after limited support from conventional medicine. In my early twenties, I developed autoimmune conditions, which prompted many questions about the root causes, contributing factors, and possibilities for natural recovery. That inquiry evolved into a deep commitment to holistic approaches and a sustained pursuit of knowledge in holistic healing.

Through experience, I’ve learned that our body has immense wisdom, and it knows what it needs to heal if we allow the space to listen. Through my journey, I’ve discovered the massive impact our thoughts, emotions and beliefs have on the health of our physical body. Our body responds to everything we think and feel, and if our thoughts and emotions are imbalanced, this in turn affects our health and vitality, potentially creating an environment for disease to manifest.

My primary focus is reducing stress-related conditions that affect emotional and physical health. I am also increasingly dedicated to supporting women through the stages of menopause, informed by my own experience entering this transition. By alleviating energetic imbalances, and releasing blockages within our subtle energy system, we create space for healing, and become better attuned to the needs of the body for long-term health and inner-harmony.

Over the past three years, I’ve developed a strong love for energy healing through Reiki, floral essences, dowsing, and forms of vibrational energy medicine. This passion grew through my own personal healing journey as I witnessed the life-changing magic of clearing and harmonizing my subtle energy system and increasing my life-force energy. This hidden well of vitality within our bodies is often overlooked, yet it's critical for every aspect of health—emotional, physical, mental & spiritual.

Many of my clients seek Reiki when they are experiencing emotional imbalances, depleted energy, burn out and high-stress. Reiki has a beautiful way of releasing heavy emotions, restoring inner vitality, and reestablishing a sense of inner-peace. Although I was initially skeptical—after several years of suggestions from others—I decided to try Reiki during a particularly stressful period in my life. A trained friend placed her hands on my shoulders, and I experienced an immediate, profound sense of relief wash over me. Since that experience, I have developed a deep professional interest in helping others experience this same.

On a personal note, I’ve lived on Vancouver Island my entire life. My practice first started in the beautiful Nanoose Bay area, and for the last 9 years, I’ve been in the tranquil countryside of Coombs. I am a mother to a very inquisitive and high-spirited 13-year-old son with ADHD and mild physical and intellectual disabilites. He has taught me so much about patience, resilience, compassion, unconditional love and the importance of self-care for mothers of all walks of life.

I live with my family on a forested property that supports a variety of small wildlife, including our own chickens, ducks, dogs & cats. My husband is a passionate gardener, who continually transforms our spaces into an expanding series of gardens. My goal for my wellness practice, is to build a dedicated studio enclosed by a secluded garden where clients can relax before returning home. I hope to make this dream happen in the next few years.

In addition to my work as a holistic practitioner, I am a Pyrography artist. In my spare time I pursue creative projects under the name Silent Forest Designs. My passions include nature, animals, the healing arts, sunrise, forest walks, a morning cup of coffee—sometimes an afternoon matcha, a small circle of supportive friends, and family life centered on simplicity. My greatest wish is uncomplicated: to feel at home in my body and my heart.

Healing is a layered journey that may unfold over many years—or an entire lifetime. Cultivating unconditional self-compassion and self-love, facilitates the revealing of those layers, allowing healing to unfold as a natural result. The body contains the wisdom we seek; in moments of stillness, it communicates guidance toward recovery and well-being. I am committed to supporting women in creating an inner sanctuary—a dedicated space for restoration and renewal.
